Internship Opportunities Announced by the Office of Assemblyman Karabinchak

Edison, NJ –  The Office of Assemblyman Robert Karabinchak announced that it is currently accepting applications for Legislative Internships for the Fall Semester, Spring Semester, and Summer. The unpaid internship program is offered for credit or community service hours. Requirements for the program, including scheduled hours, may vary based on the school or internship class that will coordinate the internship.

All internships will include a general research component.  They will also offer “an array of experience and numerous networking opportunities” according to the Office.  Assemblyman Karabinchak (D-Middlesex) represents the 18th legislative district which includes: East Brunswick, Edison, Helmetta, Highland Park, Metuchen, South Plainfield, and South River.

“Internships are a great way to immerse yourself in government, to learn about the process, and meet various stakeholders. I really do encourage those interested in government or public service to apply. It’s a great educational experience and resume builder” said Shariq Ahmad, who serves as Assemblyman Karabinchak’s Chief of Staff.
